Went out yesterday and played a course for the second time this year. No real complaints being out of action for 25 days. Inconsistent and rusty for sure but putting was light out with 29 putts. Chipping had rusty spots Driving spot on (more on that in a minute) and irons for most pretty good.
Shoulder (both) some soreness but not where hampered swing. Post round left shoulder painful again but not like before, actually feels better when I work it out as in painful but works it out of the stiffness(stinks get old and dealing with worn out parts)!
And once again Arccos stats involved in decision. Had issues again with fairway woods crushed a few and outright looked like 1st timer on others. @Patrick Anlauf Since I bought he Callaway Rogue my driving has been incredible! Old stats were 51-58% middle. New driver 15 yds. more tighter dispersion and 73% middle.
@Tom Saguto my solution to my fairway woods problem. Now also checked my stats of my crossover 3 iron against 5 wood and they are the same distance and am more accurate and versatile with 3 iron. My 3 wood is only a few yds. more then 5 wood. So ordered a 2 iron crossover to replace 3 wood and thinking of pulling 5 wood out of bag and adding wedge between lob and UTL wedge. Why make myself crazy when have confidence with 2 and 3 iron and can do more with them, case closed.
@Patrick Anlauf I would strongly suggest get to a store and in hitting booth and see what they can do for you. I was where you are at now a few years ago. It got so bad I was hitting 3 wood from tee off the ground. My new driver I can cut lose and even a little mishit it goes and stays in the middle.
@Patrick Anlauf Good luck I would go to booth first, I would never have believed I would driving this way and be pushing a Callaway driver.
@Steven You know you‘re getting your game on when you can increase your club awareness to the point you are at now! I love how you keep all the stats on the clubs. So happy for you that you were able to get out and play! Keep us up to date on your progress. Keep it crispy!
