Has anyone tried or uses Jumbomax grips? I’m thinking they could be in S&T to keep flying wedge / less roll and flip of hands. I’ve just ordered two Tour series medium to try out on a spare fairway wood and 7 iron and wondered if anyone has had any experience? thanks

Ditto on everything Russel said!
I use Jumbomax str8. They are easily double the size of a normal jumbo grip. The str8 doesn’t taper like most clubs so it helps me feel like my right hand has a great grip on the club.
first impression, “no way!” They are huge.
after trying them, I wouldn’t dream of any other grip. I have arthritis in my right hand from previous athletic endeavors and let’s just say these have been nice.
I think I have played them the last two years. Absolutely love them.
I don’t know that I subscribe to the idea bigger grips stop hooking…instead, I think it’s more about having a comfortable grip that allow me to feel like I can whip the club to a target…
it all depends on the size of your hands?. When I got fitted for my irons the fitter told me my mid-size grips work.
Thanks for the reply. I have ordered two Tour series medium so will see, I’m sure they’ll be huge and as you say Bryson does grip in the palm which is a big shift I’ll try them out just in my net and in range first. Can imagine it’s pretty strange with the wedges
I have tried them. Just know that they are heavy and can change your swing weight of your club unless you order the ultralite. I ordered the smallest one they make and it was still bigger than a jumbo in my normal grip.
I was thinking that it would help stabilize the club face and technically, it does. I did not like them though because it's basically impossible to grip the club in your fingers. If you look at Dechambeau, he has the club in the palm.
They are definitely a fix for someone who flips, but I like to have the club in my fingers.
