Well as it turned out not enough players got out with rain hard and early so not counted. Money for week gets put into year end 36 hole finals. Skins go to next week doubled.
Good news back to only working 4 days next week as usual.
Got a tee time for Tuesday morning in place of my Practice Facility day. Going to the shorter, postage stamp green course near me. Good place to get some iron play and short game work. Still be getting to course early for both Tuesday practice round & Wednesday league play. And going to work the 5280 ITF hard, more focused and driven than ever. (A lot to do with banter here)
Also even though only been 6 rounds of scored league play this year. My index dropped 1 full point. Outside shot may slip into bottom of 1st flight upcoming round. If that happens moved back to rear tees and course just got 400 yds. longer.
Good problem to have, moving in right direction. Going to work hard this week on S&T ingraining.
@Tom Saguto@Russell Hogue, PhD & @GolfLivesMatter your threads are all motivators!!!
Thanks
The best way, at least for me, to engrain the SnT swing is to get in front of a mirror. i take the club back to the top without looking in the mirror, doing all the things I've learned from Tom. Then....i look up and check myself to see if I've performed the movement. I pivot from a down the line to a front view while staying in position. It's amazing how the brain remembers the various feels when using a mirror.
@Steven Way to go…on your way to championship flight. My league play has been a mixed bag. Playing off a 2 in a 9 hole league. Shot 38 three weeks in a row…all three rounds with a double bogey because I had to try and make up ground. Lost my 6 strokes, 10 strokes, and finally only 1 stroke (guy got up and down from a ridiculous spot on last hole to close me out). I am rethinking the low handicap. Feels like an 8 handicap would be more fun. :)
Good luck on your league play. Here in South Florida this time of year with rain and the lightning horns, it a challenge to get 9 hole in. But will keep at it to try and lower my 25 handicap. 😀
