My journey began Two years ago when I started watching some of Tom’s YouTube videos. I found them interesting mostly because of his simple approach with limited swing thought. But most of all I found them entertaining, as you know Tom is quite a character. Then in July 2020 when my swing was in the desert for the thousandth time I decided to look Tom up and take an in person lesson. What a game changer that was.The results were immediate just by putting into practice and play the simple techniques of weight forward ,front shoulder down and hands in. I played some very good Golf for a while But was particularly struggling with my driver. At that point I decided to join the online school. Then I proceeded to dive headfirst into the stack and tilt and Tom‘s system. That was another game changer. The primary reason that it was is because then when I hit a bad shot I now know why I hit it.I had never I had the feeling of something to fall back on ever before . I know I’m rambling on now but I want to mention one more thing. My handicap is not 8,6,4 or even 2 shots better than before Saguto. It’s about the same, around 8,but my understanding of why I hit bad shots is better and my enjoyment of the game is off the charts. Stick with it Saguto golfers!
Thanks Tom
Thanks for the update and testimonial, @billpapania!! Handicap is oftentimes a lagging indicator of true progress, and that's especially the case when it was already single-digit. Based on what you are saying about understanding your misses, you are definitely a better golfer and the scores will eventually catch up. And how do we even assign a numerical value to "off the charts enjoyment"? That speaks for itself!!
