Hey guys! Just moved to texas and got a round in. Didnt produce the best score but was happy with a decent amount of crispy iron shots. I did have 5 pars in a row also. Still shot a 94 with some blowup wholes. One thing that fell apart was pushing my driver right on most of the back nine, causing me to have to drop and lose a lot of strokes. So that means my path and face matched eachother but a bit in to out correct? What would be a proper easy fix or ideas on why I was doing that? Thanks! We are making progress!

@22cblower Nice round! Hope you had a pleasant move. I used to live in Arlington, Tx when I was in the Navy. Bought my first house there. Be sure to check out the stockyards in Ft. Worth. Listened to a lot of good Country Music at Billy Bob’s.
@22cblower - Before getting into any type of swing intervention - especially since you hit several good shots during your round - I would strongly suggest checking your setup. Put a couple of sticks down to confirm proper alignment as @burkholder.ronald suggests, and also make sure that your ball position with the driver didn't creep backwards as that can cause a straight push as well.
Nice playing and congrats on your move!!
@22cblower your assessment is correct. If you are hitting a straight push, your face is aligned to your in to out swing path. Assuming you are not aiming too far right ( and you should check your aim) you need to get your path less in to out. @GolfLivesMatter has suggested one possible cause. @Tom Saguto just posted a video today about how the swing path can be affected by the position of the shaft at the top of the swing. Be sure to check that out.
I will suggest you check out Tom’s school videos on fading the driver. That might help you get the path less in to out. Let us know when you get this fixed and what worked for you.
My first guess is you might be spinning your hips on the downswing, such that the trail elbow gets stuck behind your torso. Then the only path for the club is to the right.
