I’ve started video analysis lessons with Tom, which have been fantastic. This is my driver swing, which Tom hasn’t seen, and my main problems working on with irons are too much In to Out swing path and casting. The extremely shallow approach into ball seems to work with driver, but I guess I am losing a lot of distance by not maintaining right arm angle?

Thanks GLM. Have been doing a lot of work this past 2 weeks, and this swing is hopefully now my “Old `Swing”. Will double check weight transfer on downswing. Cheers. Adam
Not bad. I'd start with your stance. Looks like a narrow stance and your feet appear pointed straight which limits movement. I can see on your follow through that your left foot causes the club to roll up over your head at the finish. Flare both feet IMO.
I am cautious to comment on videos because I can't get a feel of your weight distribution and movement during your swing. I would check to see where your weight is moving/shifting by closing your eyes and swinging, paying most attention to your feet. I believe Tom likes to have about 70% of the weight on the left side at the top. Thus even if you straighten your right leg at the top, your weight can easily settle back onto your right side at the start of the downswing, which IMO appears to be what's happening. Only you can feel that movement.
Tom will figure out everything else!!
@1759adam - Nice looking swing. I would suggest not letting your lead knee go back so much. Get it moving down over the lead foot and you'll be able to clear your hips much easier. The best hitters in my opinion have square shoulders and open hips at impact. Cheers.
LOL! That hair is looking rather epic, @1759adam! And while on the topic, mine is not "Lockdown Hair" - it's really just "locks down".... 🤣
Feel free to tag some of the "regulars" when you post a video here. Also, it will help your reviewers if you can add a face-on perspective.
Cheers!
Tom
Have just noticed that my Lockdown Hair almost rival’s Tom!
