I'm telling you@Tom Saguto once again your daily insider tip right to what I was making sure of today. I do think about one thing after going through setup extras that are all a pre-swing setup check list that keeps me focused. the one thing is the back of the ball, everything else once I start is on auto, low takeaway, triangle, 3/4 backswing and accelerate. If I don't concentrate on the ball"twilight zone" time.
Anyway........if I could only stop the "twilight zone " swings. Had 3 today, 1 cost me a penalty stroke. The other 2 cost me double bogeys as well did the penalty.
Started off par, bogey, then back to back doubles with the 1 penalty stroke in there. Then got laser focused and finished out the front 9 with 5 straight pars for a 41 in,league play!
3 members of the group only played 9 so back 9 was only me and stayed focused except for 1 more "twilight zone"swing yet another double but finished with 41 for 82, total putts on the day 29(14&15).
Feeling comfortable and confident making the new swing my own. Driver is inside front heel, long irons 1 half club head back from driver position and stance width adjustments for 3 thru lower irons with right foot and a bit of closed stance for driver. Pitching and chipping spot on, with greenside chipping using different clubs for roll distance working out great!
Looking forward to 2 weeks from now for 4 days in a row play on courses I have played before although not for some time.
If I can stay focused and keep progressing going to be a force in the 36 hole final. Maybe can get on the wall for the 3rd time!
ONCE AGAIN THANKS TOM SAGUTO!
And to all the golfers and golfettes that are true inspiration!
