@Brandon Wall and myself took on two golfers in a better ball match today...good guys for the win. We won 3 and 2.
Brandon, when you are practicing in your mat, make sure your club is square to where you want the ball to start. You might have to actually have the face closed a little to the target as the clubs get longer. You will know you over did it if you swing out to the right and the ball either starts left or over hooks.
Also, make sure you aren't lining up too far right. Lining up right of the target is a swing killer. Your brain knows the target is left and subconsciously, you will swing over the top to try and swing to the target...nothing good comes from an over the top chop.
Most of your swing issues are poor alignment. It's a good lesson because most people hit a bad shot and immediately think they did something wrong with swing mechanics. Before trying to change your swing, make sure alignments and grip are correct.
Swing was much better today...way to go and nice win!
nicely done boys...
