@Tom Saguto @Patrick Anlauf thanks for feedback and comments.
OKAY!!!!
Went out to my postage stamp practice course this morning.
Paired with some gentlemen they play the course regular (5 times a week).
I had some issues with crispy hits but seem to push with ever so slight fade. Explained to one of the fellows probably a fews years older then me. I'm guessing he shot 77 today! What I am doing with hands forward and weight. And commented looked like might be a bit too forward?(hands that is)
To continue, Fairway woods were in the house today! Decided before the round that I was not going to second guess myself and just put them in the alignment grid and KNOW I can hit them. Every wood shot today was KFC! Which explains the start of back nine that has back to back par 5's to start, went birdie, par!
Short game was also lights out again! 26 putts total !!!!!!
Final report:
81carded with 39 on back 9!
SUGGESTION looking for how do I address the directional issues with mid to long irons? Not terrible, but definitely do not have the control I have with shorter irons (some directional issues) and driver (not a big hitter but keeping it in play)and (yippee) now fairway woods are back.
Thanks, looking forward to responses!
Nice round Steven! @Steven
Nice round, @Steven, and good job renewing your relationship with the fairway woods! Phenomenal putting as well!!
Hand position is even with the inside of your lead thigh for all clubs. No further forward than that.
It will help those who read your post if you can specify whether you have a typical miss with regard to starting direction and curve, or if they are pretty much random.
