Play on index 16. Checked all your videos thouroughly and did some range practice during our Swedish winter. Hitting from the mat and hit my 7 solid. crispy! Have increased approx 10-15yds as well. Dare to tilt is my slogan and yes it worked.
Moved on to the grass and shit, started to chunk soo deep, ocean deep divots For my first 3 rounds. About to panic :) was everything wrong? Then suddenly I started to see some deep fried crispy shots during the Friday round. Then today scored 3 above par. I mean an index 16 scoring 3 above par, and it was all about my crispy irons, no lucky putting! So yes, this formula works. I have done the round of my life, goal achieved.
Thanks Tom for making me feel like true champ!
I just played the best golf game in my life. Yesterday I played when I had a personal day from work and I figured out a better swing the last four holes, so today I played East Potomac Blue again and kept score and I wanted to build-off of what I learned. KEY--tight, tucked right bicep at top. I took two mulligans, e.g. one time was an off-center tee box with trees obstructing the fairway, etc. FRONT 9-- 41. BACK 9-- 43. Total score 84. Highlights-- Making par on all four of the Par 3's. Making Par on #17--a par 5 and getting on the green in regulation. No birdies, but 7 Pars. I got 3 double bogies.
Still walkng around with that grin on my face :)
Yes so true, needs to work on the consistency now, will analyze my next round to see the level where I truly perform. Shortgame is for sure still weak. Target is consistent index 9.
You ARE a champ, @ahlstromfredrik009!! You set a goal and then you absolutely CRUSHED it!! Congratulations on your great success and best ever round!
Next goal: Build in the consistency you need to get to a solid single-digit handicap, and keep working on the short game because a few good up-and-downs and a couple of "lucky" putts will have you challenging par with increased frequency.
Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work!!
Tom
