My game is coming along very well, but with my mid irons (6, 7, 8, 9) especially on Par 3's I seem to overdraw the shot. I aim a bit right of the pin and hit a nice shot but as the ball travels it will draw left off of the green. Sometimes it will end up 10 to 20 yards left of the green. The shot felt good, nice contact feeling, and proper distance, but too much draw. I started aiming more right but problem did not go away. Ball seems to start out straight at the pin and draw from there. I have moved the ball forward to a point even with my front foot to prevent the draw as shown in one of Tom's videos but still no help. Maybe my club is not open enough at address with the ball a club head behind my leading heel, and if so, how do I set proper club face at address to make ball have "push draw" as is talked about. Not sure what the problem is so any help is appreciated. If I can fix this I will end up putting on a Par 3 rather than chipping on to the green. Thanks Frank

I worked on it and came to that conclusion, I believe I was taking the club back too far inside and getting the draw spin. I made some adjustments and things are good now. Thanks Frank
I can have the same problem with the short irons/wedges. Puling them left. I think for me, it's when my upper body starts the swing and gives an outside in club path. Since the shaft is shorter, there is more bend at the lower back, which can contribute a little more to the outside in path.
It seems most often on par 3's but also on approach shots but not always because my approach shots may be with shorter wedges at times. I don't see as much draw with the shorter wedges. I reviewed Tom's videos again and I think I need to adjust my clubface a bit open at address and might fix my problems. I will try this. Also, I am not sure how to post a video on the analysis room or where to learn how to do this. Any help with this would help as well. Thanks Frank
So only on Par 3's, not on approach shots?
Might be helpful to posts a video on the analysis room. Down the line and face on if you can get both will be helpful. thanks
Closed club face?
