Tom, are any of the towel drills, ”rope” type training aids (The Pro by Dan Martin @ Be Better Golf) or whippy clubs (Gforce) helpful when learning Stack and Tilt? I am trying to increase club head speed and recent video revealed that I am releasing the club too early, loosing a lot of club head speed. It looks bad! I have always struggled with this problem and I need to fix it. The drills and products I have researched seem to address that issue, forcing you not to release the club. I wanted your opinion on which, if any of these would help fix this, while using your Stack and Tilt teaching methods. Please make any recommendation. Thank you.

Hi @jkb829 - If the training aid helps you to ingrain the proper impact position (hands ahead of clubhead, forward shaft lean, "flying wedge" intact) without causing any rolling of the wrists or flipping of the hands through the zone, then I don't see an issue with using it. For example, here is a video I did using Impact Snap, which is an indoor/outdoor training aid designed to help you reinforce this solid impact condition.
You can find a bit of dialogue on this topic by typing "training aid" into the Forum search bar. I believe some of that may be helpful to your quest. Feel free to tag individual members who are active in a comment thread to solicit their opinions with regard to how particular training aids perform for them.
Thanks,
Tom
