Hello all,
I have been heavily revisiting drill 2.8 which indeed is the best drill of all time (I’m even considering playing with that swing for a while as I’m hitting further than full swing and much better consistency).
One thing I’m struggling with is that to have good contact I really need the swing thought of the club pointing down at the ground on the follow through, and I am not able to complete the full follow through with rehinging of the wrists on a normal swing. I feel like my arms are blocked at the 3/4 finish position and they mechanically cannot get past that to a « across the body, rehinged wrists position. Also, as soon as I try having a fuller follow through (more than 3/4, with cluB pointing down at the ground), my impact suffers and I’ll start hitting thin shots etc.
Any tips on moving past the 2.8 drill with a fuller follow through ?
Thank you!
Martin
Hello, I posted my swing video here when not doing drill 2.8. Would really appreciate feedback! I think my main problem is having a good swing thought to not come from the inside / bump the hips to hit at the ball.
Thanks a lot
