Trying my hardest but still fighting shoulder , can't seem to get it away from body on down swing so to speak. And have issues on back swing keeping arm totally straight. Upside I believe is better than when I first started with this academy. And definitely making difference as ball striking is more consistent, sure swinging the club everyday is helping. Sticking with trying to improve mechanics, but am I also wrong to think that somethings will conform to our style and if the results is consistent ball striking and control. Then is that the end result of what we are looking for?

@Steven - Consider Mike Bennett, Grant Waite, and Charlie Wi - noticeably different swings, but all wholly and fully S&T. Sure there are boundaries, but there's plenty of room for us to put our own unique spin on it - and/or to excel within the realm of our preexisting physical limitations!
Yes, I commend you for getting out there. Brings up a good question on either permanent disability or daily soreness and how it effects the Swing. How to overcome and still be able to play and hit the ball KFC. What ever you do, don't stop. If anything you are helping us all see the determination and desire to get it right, or at least to be a scratch player. 😉
Oh, wow, Steven. Ok, yeah, understood!! Had no idea - probably missed those posts. Keep rocking it. You are a warrior with the underneath metal and working on the swing. You are in the right place.

Reminded by Our fearless leader @Tom Saguto.
Do have some range of motion issues, although I wish it didn't affect my swing....it most likely does and does hamper certain things I try to do as bummed out as I am to say that.
I have a plate and 11 screws in my right shoulder. From top to mid upper arm half way above elbow to top of shoulder! :(
So certain things feel like I am moving in a certain way but just not going to happen, I do things in slow motion and there is definitely scar tissue I can feel that plays a factor. And that's okay, but when I try to do some of the things I do slowly when 80% speed time comes shoulder is not going to cooperate.
But @Tom Saguto and forum and courses are improving my game and ball striking just will not let myself get frustrated on certain things that are not going to happened.
But PLEASE KEEP THE COMMENTS COMING!!!!!
It's all helpful and now you know what I am dealing with also!
THANKS
@Steven - For the edification of your fellow members who are looking to assist, you may want to provide a little detail on your shoulder issue and the resulting limitations on your range of motion to help them in their review. Just a thought.
Hey, Steven. You'll get there. This is what I see. It looks to me like your trail elbow is pinned to your side. Your arms are too far apart. Your elbows should be together to keep the left arm straight in the back swing. As you go back it looks like your trail elbow is pinned against your body and it's sliding backwards like a slot machine lever. Tom has a really good video on this. As a result it looks like club is coming down way too steep and from out to in during your down swing. The elbow should not be pinned to your sides - the armpits should be pinned. The right elbow should "tuck" and fold as a result of the take away but it does not slide against your side. I'm a big fan of "Get out and Go Play" course. 2.8 is in there and other drills are in that course as well. Start at the beginning with how to grip the club and what to do with the arms. It's awesome. And it takes time. :) Video is great. Can really see the detail!! Love the garage and your net setup.

I am also struggling with the shoulder. But I believe it starts with my posture. Although I am on 2.8, I feel like I should focused more on the posture. I am moving slightly away from target on back Swing and left shoulder is not down. Steven your swing looks fluid. Looks like progress. Keep up the good work.
