Today I went and hit 100 Balls. The feeling was crispy about 80% of the time. Accuracy was about 50% of the time and a noticeable draw was about 20 % of the time. Here are the changes. I had a moment where I lost it but got it back.
1. I changed my grip up a little to make sure my right hand covered the left thumb a little better.
2. I made sure the club extended into a straight line into the lead arm. It felt like I was really tilting the club too far out and sometimes I think I rolled my hand over to complete the effect. I will have to analyze that a little further on the next batch of balls. I am sure I had the club at the inner thigh as opposed to in the middle.
3. I moved my left hip out a bit
4. I tucked in my right elbow.
I really tried to stay consistent in everything I did. Some of them felt so good even If they didn't go so straight. I tried to concentrate on how far back I was bringing the club and tried to stop when I felt my lead arm was across my chest, keeping the head in place, keeping that weight forward. I did my best to concentrate on tilting and turning and sometimes when I really thought I emphasized that process I smacked the ball very well. It's the best I have hit in weeks. I will continue to practice until it becomes a habit. I am very excited.
AWESOME work, @Tom Holt!!
