I have been rewatching drill 2.8 per Tom's edict and I find it fantastic. I you were to answer the following question: "What makes drill 2.8 so groundbreaking (not earth gouging) for you and your game" how would you respond? I would like to get as many responses as possible. Thanks for your input.
Here are my top 3 answers:
- It is the perfect warm-up exercise before beginning practice or a round
- You could add it to your preshot routine
- I bet I could play a whole round with that method only and would probably beat the old swayer, chopper, flipper Bob C.
Interested in your thoughts.
Special Note:
If you are tired of my stupid content, is there a way for you to put me on an "ignore" list. I am a member of a bbq forum and I believe some folks find that very helpful. Although when I ask them about that in the forum they never seem to respond so I can't confirm that 100%.
I once played 5 rounds in a row and broke 80 every round. The 2.8 drill is the golf swing without the power accumulators. Holding the flying wedge in the trail wrist eliminates the weak flip through impact guaranteeing you get great compression.
I find that I start to lose the benefits when I try to use the power accumulators. I don’t know why I can’t maintain the discipline to play every round with the 2.8 swing, if I could I would score better. It’s crazy. I’m going to try it again on my Sunday money game. Focus Focus.
