So , I went and played last weekend after a few weeks of driving range practice off artificial turf. When I played this weekend on the par 3 course amost everything was from the T box. I put the T all the way in the ground. Would how I did this affect my shot since I have been practicing off of turf?
just a thought.
In other regards, I will be taking the next weekend off from golf. I have a new putting practice thingy so I will work on that stroke. I think I need a week just because. tom
Sure. I had the tee all the way down. I took everything I had been learning and threw it in the lake. Reaching to far back to assure my arms would break down. Not keeping the weight forward. so I am taking this week off to recharge and start with the fundamental. Keeping that left arm straight is my biggest issue. Not enough turn or tilt and reaching to far back. The best part is I know what my issue is because of Tom Saguto. So, right now at 5am I am watching
” This Arms Straight Feeling is the Best Kept Secret to Hitting Great Golf Shots”
Informative yet entertaining. And this is going to be my practice drill when I return to the range. I was not happy with anything I hit off the Tee.
And I won’t talk about those 2 putts on a par 3. I am limited to space. There is no place in the house to swing a club but I remember the indoor trading section where I learned to keep my head straight by banging it on the wall to practice Tilt and turn. Did I say Banging? I meant placing. I figure I go back to it and study. purchased a putting mat so we will see how that goes.
