Hi Tom knew as you know to the forum and two weeks just into S&T. loads of big differences but a big one is the straight (Hogan) arms, well that's until you get to putting. I notice your putting stroke doesn't follow the rest of your teachings eg rigid arms. Sorry I know this is a bit 'tongue in cheek' but I so happen to be a lousy putter. I tried the straight locked elbows and starting the putt with my lead shoulder down and seems to get the ball very much online. Will try it out for real tomorrow either way don't have a lot to lose. I know putting is a personal thing but it does seem like a good idea by taking another variable out of the mix.

@sales - LOL! Sadly there are some necessary deviations from S&T when we get to the putter, unless you feel the urge - after a particularly bad experience on the previous green - to teach the flat stick a lesson by teeing off with it... 🤣 (Actually, I did once hear of a story about a guy doing that and proceeding to ace a par 3 with his putter!)
Yes - I encourage you to review my putting course, perhaps take a few potentially useful tips from it, and then incorporate it into your personal technique/stroke. There's just so much variety out there - as evidenced by what we see on TV each week - but there are some timeless elements that I try to share which are at least worthy of some consideration.
Please keep us posted on your results!
