Once again I can barely contain my excitement. Last week during a round I duffed nearly every chip I made for a monster number of 108. At @Tom Saguto’s behest I went back to school. Today I learned the Mickelson Chip. https://saguto.golf/courses/836978/lectures/22678862 At fifteen-ish yards I was dropping eight out of ten right on top of each other first time trying. Not a single duff. I’m beside myself with anticipation of playing this weekend

Nice hinge & hold form there, @Buford T Ogletree!!
I actually learned this several years ago after purchasing Phil's "Secrets of the Short Game" DVD, which I highly recommend (if still available) to anyone who wishes to dig deeper into his techniques.
Tom
I would like to hear what others are doing for ball position.
I have found that for short irons, I make better contact with ball in middle and not 2 balls inside heel.
sorry, my keyboard is messed up, meant to say have been playing golf for 50 yrs
I have played lf for 50 year and have worked on Mickelon hinge and hold method and it is working great for me. I will NEVER change again.
