There's always "work to do", @Doug S - at least now you have a "honey-do list" for it!
As for the fitting, if you're adjusting your setup to accommodate your equipment, then I'm guessing you may have some lie angle tweaking in your future. But the session will be much more than just that. Even if your lie angles, etc. are somehow correct for you, you're going to have fun and really learn a lot.
@Tom Saguto Hi Tom, thank you for the feedback today via the V1 analysis.
I've brought the ball position back some on driver because I was getting wicked pulls and pull hooks. I only get a fade, or more of a push fade, if I bust the hips extra hard, I think I also slide forward when I do that as well. So yes I will get my share of thin shots with driver as well.
The behind view with 9 iron. I do have some Moe Norman/Bryson in my setup with standing away from the ball. My irons are stock lie and I'm only 5'5", so I have to stand a bit more upright. My irons will tend toward fade, especially as I go toward the longer irons, but my driver and hybrids will tend to hook, or draw as a typical ball flight. That's where I'm wondering how much I can benefit from a fitting from your buddy.
So yeah, thank you for the time, I got things to work on. You had to go there, with my baseball grip didn't you!? Lol, I use to have an interlocking in my previous golf life, ok, I guess I got work to do. thanks!
I know my tempo sucks and that I don’t have any transition at the top of the swing. I also sway my body to the left in the downswing. That‘s a great way to top and hit thin shots. I‘m in such a hurry to hit the ball. GLM told me to envision my left
shoulder up against a wall. He’s right. I’ve gone in too many directions with my mind and swing thoughts.
Doug, take a look at the 2.8 Drill in the course. Magic drill. I played four rounds hitting every shot using that drill and broke 80 all four times. Averaged 12 of 14 fairways and 13 of 18 greens. When I did miss a fairway or green it was by less than ten yards. You can get plenty of distance using the drill swing. I didn't need to club up to reach the green. Using the drill ensures crispy contact, and that is the key to accuracy and distance. Commit to it for one round and you will see what I mean.
Thank you, I think you are spot on. I know I’ve played better with a more compact swing. Thank you
wow on breaking 80, 4 times! I felt like I was knocking on that door, my short game was preventing. I cleaned that up and started to focus on full swing, it’s been a disaster as far as score goes.
Thanks again for the support. Tom going after my grip. That, for me was like letting a stranger into the bedroom. I have known that my baseball grip isn’t optimal. But I have learned to make it work...to a point. I haven’t wanted to recognize that. I’m still on the fence, but I trust Tom. I will give it a go, in the full sense.
Between you and Tom and some others, I will surrender. Lol
Ever since I did this video, and saw myself, I've been hitting some really bad shots, my ballstriking has gotten worse. I've been watching a lot of Tom's videos and trying to incorporate into my swing. Been working really hard and putting in a lot of time. Then taking to the course, not panning out. I just don't know if this old dog can be taught new tricks. I don't know if I am trying to run before I can walk? I was never totally happy with my full swing, but not many golfers are. I watched a video early last week from youtube of Tom talking about Arnold Palmer's shoulder to the ball tip. I used that and had great ballstriking, but it's all gone to pot since then. Been trying to do a lot of other stuff. I think I need a little break before trying a total overhaul. Tom asked me to tag some of the you guys here to get attention to this thread/video. But I am in a tailspin, not sure I am gonna be ready to try and fix what things are wrong.
2 fast 4 me. Filming your swing from the screen i do not get a good resolution.
Seems that your left arm is not straight from adress to impact.
The far right ellbow and the weight shifting remebers me to the old swing.
If you compare it with the first drivervideo in the school or the swing of Flynn in this categorie they do not shift and have the right ellbow closer to the body.
Sorry for this short answer but today I struggle with my iPad and have lost my more friendly comments to your swing which looks very dynamic.
I believe you can hit much further with less effort.
@Doug S - Feel free to tag the usual "suspects" if you don't see any feedback happening, especially over a holiday weekend when folks tend to be preoccupied with stuff and food and food stuffing...
If you'd like for me to do a V1 Analysis, go ahead and follow the normal process as described halfway down this page on the Saguto.Golf site. No worries - it'll have no problem nabbing you for the appropriate "donation" LOL!
Computers/phones aggravate me. I took these videos with my iphone. It wouldn't let me upload from that, so I uploaded them to YouTube. Then I got the V1 app so that Tom could make a few sheckles, the free version doesn't let you import videos, whatever. Maybe I will send a donation with these two short videos and he can do his thing and give feedback. Thanks for any feedback you guys have good, bad, and the ugly.
I just played the head on view on my phone, toggling real slow. I knew my left arm had a little break at the top, but I THOUGHT i straightened for the downswing, ugh nope. Am I "a flipper" too!?

@Ken Dietrich thank you for the “likes” and support. My swing right now is that last turd that disappears in the toilet bowl.

For myself. "Tilt" is a new thing for me. I'm starting to understand more.
