I've watched 2.8 and done the accompanying drill many times the last few months, hold the follow through, and see the wedge on the recordings but still struggle with keeping the lag and hinge in my wrists. So I finally did slow mo recording vs regular and I can see via video even though I think I'm keeping my lead forearm straight/on the hangar and keeping the wedge the video and screen shot here to me seem to still show me as flipping. Anything else jumping out at you all? I have been regressing and had my worst striking since I've been a student in the course and started feeling pretty frustrated the other day. I think I'm just lost when it comes to the trial arm and how to properly assert it. I'm gonna start looking at simplest swing ever course on here next as I saw another post reference it, unless the masters here have a better idea. Thanks!

@KyleW 2.8 is a viable swing for playing good golf. I personally dedicated myself to playing that swing for 5 rounds and broke 80 all 5 rounds. since then I have tried to add the power moves and essentially broke my swing. So, I’m back to playing 2.8. If you can master the 2.8 swing, especially the preservation of the trail wrist position as shown in the lesson you will be able to compress the ball better for manageable distance and accuracy.
Good luck.
Also, it appears the video upload didn't finish, as only the supplementary still photos I attached made it! Ha.

Beyond that, it may be a good time for a V1 Analysis so I can put my eyes on your swing and offer a more specific diagnosis and action plan. You may also wish to consider the LagShot, which is an awesome training aid for resolving a host of downswing sins - particularly because you can hit balls and receive instant feedback. Simply incorporate the LagShot into your practice routine and it will greatly assist you in eradicating the early extension move and grooving the proper motions and downswing path.
