That's FANTASTIC, @Tony A. Rose!! Congrats on your great round (and your winnings)!!
I can't tell you how many thousands of golfers across the globe have benefited dramatically from that Hogan "Trail Arm Magic" lesson. It's definitely a very popular one, and I'm glad to know that this simple tip resonated so well with you. Great job incorporating it into your swing so quickly!!
If you dare to dive deeper, the Simplest Golf Swing Ever course really features the trail arm, and many here in the school have used this very effectively in building their respective swings. Given your results with the Hogan video, you may find some value in it as well.
Keep up the great work, and I look forward to hearing about your soon-to-come best score ever!!
OMG. This weekend has been such a contrast. I worked on lesson 2.8 Friday. Hit over 100 balls. The next day I shot 99, was feeling a bit better about things but not very satisfied. Felt I was not keeping my hands in the correct position. Felt my downswing was still over the top. Far from what Tom recommends. The next day on the front shot 44, felt good, and then the wheels came off. Shot 59 on the back. I was too worried about too many things. In total despair I ran across, again, this Ben Hogan You Tube today before my Labor Day round. So simple and so straightforward. Keep your arms straight and connected and tilt. Favor the left leg. No more and no less. Shot 46 on the front, 41 on the back. The second best score I have had EVER! Thanks Tom (and Ben). Oh yeah—won $35 so I bought lunch. Happy Labor Day everyone.
Thank you, Tom.
