Hi Tom, I noticed in your videos on chipping, a square stance, or at least the appearance of that. I tend to want to have my feet almost together, ball back off my right toe and an open stance. Very upright posture. what are your thoughts on this, pros and cons, etc.

Chipping is a highly personal thing, Doug. For some folks it's a very abbreviated version of their full swing, for some it's like their putting motion, and for others it's something completely different. I defer to your results. If you are pleased with your chipping performance and consistency - and if it holds up well under pressure - then I see no need to change.
I offer effective baseline setup and motion options in my chipping instruction, but I fully expect each golfer to then infuse their own uniqueness to develop a style that is repeatable and reliable for them.
