I have a problem with over-rotating on the downswing. The result is that my lead foot will spin out to the left excessively. Any drills you've filmed you could kindly direct me to? I've been trying half swings but the problem is still there.
The foot bone is connected to the leg bone which in turn is connected to the hip bone, so without actually seeing it my best guess is that your hip rotation element of the downswing is proceeding unchecked. We need to add a lateral hip slide component. Let's get you over to the Downswing chapter of the Fixing Common Swing Problems section of the school. After viewing that intro video, go through the next two lessons specific to Problem #1(Diagnosing and the Swing Under the Stick Drill), and then park yourself on the Lateral Hip Motion Drill and work on building that into your swing.
You can also try working through the Tailbone2Target drill in the Indoor Training Program as that tends to get the hips moving forward on autopilot.
So kind of you to write this out. Thanks for going above and beyond for us!

I hope this helps!
