New Saguto Golf member. Really like the system.
Just feel really uncomfortable with Driver setup (used to setup with weight on back foot slightly and slight shoulder tilt to sweep up). Would normally drive 255-285. Would hit straight high ball or sometimes fade/slice. Good days and bad days.
Am having good initial results with my short and mid irons switching to Saguto golf (P/9/8/7)
Struggling with 4/5/6 irons, but am finally shifting my weight and getting to front side.
Backswing LOW and IN is a little weird still. Starting to trust it. Pointing shoulder at ball is not automatic yet.
Biggest concern is driver. My swing speed is normally around 100 mph.
With Saguto method it is down to 87-88 mph and not making good contact.
In comparison I am getting 80 - 82 mph with my 7 iron using Saguto method.
First time on range with Saguto method using driver was popping it up, shanking, low line drives. Ugly. Even the solid contacts were not very long. Maybe 250 max. Not getting usual ball height.
What are best vids for longer clubs and driver? I did review the Crash course in Driver. Makes sense but I am doing something very wrong. Feel very slow and lacking consistent point of contact I am kind of getting with irons.
I've been stuck in this vortex recently. I'm a bit confused because, even though I am really uncomfortable with a wider stance, and do it, my hips do not seem to have enough rotational freedom and my back leg already seems fully extended before I even attempt to begin my swing. Also, if we need/want even more weight forward for longer clubs, the front hip doesn't really have much laterally motion left, it's already maxed forward, so yeah... the hips have nowhere to go but rotate on the downswing. Short irons (5-PW) seem to be my jam at the moment, and also my utility wood (21 degree), but anything longer in my bag is really making me nervous. Staying positive, back-tracking lessons frequently.
