I don't have the words to adequately express how much Saguto golf turned my game around and made it enjoyable again, in a short amount of time. "Thank you" just doesn't seem to be enough. I consistently shot in the 80's pretty much my whole life. Steadily got worse and I eventually quit the game, and when I took it up again a couple years ago I was shooting in the 90's. I'm a casual golfer and just like hanging out with the guys, but even a casual golfer gets sick of consistently hitting it bad and I pondered quitting the game again.
Then I found Tom on youtube, and joined Saguto Golf on March 6th. Things have gotten steadily better and I've been shooting low 80's again. Some things really clicked last week and today I played the ball down from 6,441 yards and shot my best round ever, a 77! I said a 77! This transformation has been miraculous and truly made the game much more enjoyable. And since golf is life, made life more enjoyable. lol
Tom, I'm eternally grateful, thank you.
So, @brentondudgeon .......... I'm guessing that 4 strokes per side is now off the table????........🤣🤣🤣
I LOVE this!! It is such a great testimony to patiently embracing the process, navigating the inevitable bumps in the road, rooting out persistent old swing demons, tolerating the naysayers, and ultimately taking ownership of a repeatable, low-maintenance, body-friendly, high-performance swing!!
Well said and well done, Brenton. I'm thrilled for your success so far, with more to come as you continue to elevate your game to new levels!!
Have fun out there!!
Tom
To @Tom Saguto your system has proven to be reliable, repeatable, and paying huge dividends. After my original post of my best round ever, I struggled a bit, because I got into some old over-swinging habits. While discussing on the course with my buddy, he said he's not a fan of the 'forward press' his description of my driver ball position set up via Saguto. He's noticed the marked improvement, just offered that tidbit. But different strokes, right? I stuck with it, revisited all the lessons that helped me improve, and it's paid off. Consistently shooting in the low 80's now (was mid 90's before Saguto), and dumped a 77 on my pal last weekend to his 79...... while he was giving me 4 a side. I'm guessing he's not quite the fan of Saguto golf I am, hehe. Followed that 77 with an 80 that should've been a 78 but had two BAD double bogeys on 16 & 17, just silly, unforced errors. The HUGE difference for me is the Saguto method has helped me eliminate the big numbers. Errant shots are short or deep vs 30 yards off line. 7's and the occasional 8 were always a part of my scorecard, but are RARE now. Anyway, to all the Saguot golfers out there. Be patient; stick with it; always go back and review the lessons again to reset if you find yourself going back to old habits mid round. Thanks again Tom.
Absolutely AWESOME, @brentondudgeon!!! Congrats on your best ever!!! (Well, for the time being, anyway....😎)
I am thrilled for your rekindled enthusiasm and enjoyment, and I commend you for putting in the necessary time and properly applied effort to rebuild your game! You are absolutely correct - anyone who says "a bad day of golf beats a good day at the office" has either completely given up on their game or just doesn't get it....🤣
Well done, thanks for sharing your success, and keep up the great work!!
