I am getting excited to be playing 18 holes for the first time with the S&T. Its Only 8:15 here in Honolulu and I will be playing the Bayview Golf Course in Kaneohe. It's not a large course and it's more like a par 3 with a few par 4's scattered about. I really thought it would be a good place to start. #1 it's only 30 bucks. It also gives me a chance to work on that short game. As I looked over the scorecard at the yardage for each hole I am confused about what to hit. For example, I know I can hit my 9 almost 150 the first hole is 130 so do I go down in clubs or take something of the 9? I could go the the PW and see what happens. how about my gap wedge? There are only 5 holes where I will even bring out the driver. I am thinking that as I play more I will get more familiar with the clubs and how I hit them. Smack the hell out of it for full distance or gently without coming down so hard? Is it all about finesse and knowing your capabilities with each club?
I'm thinking yes. But please correct me if I am wrong. I have so many questions but I don't want to appear I am spamming the board. I will have a full update after my round so you have something fun to read in the morning. Dont play until 3:00pm
with range balls!
