i am just starting 2.8 drill. You emphasize using your core. What is your thought on using the ground (feet) to initiate the tilt turn extend?
How would you feel about feeling the arms push down at address and keeping that feeling throughout the drill?
I have a big problem with tension in the arms
@pjwgolf69 - I have no issue with anyone's unique feels, as long as they accomplish the desired motions/positions without tension or strain. Pushing into the ground with your lead foot is an acceptable way to initiate the swing, as long as you don't get too much weight forward at the top (i.e.: not more than 70%) which may then result in a reverse shift to the trail side on the downswing. As for pushing the arms down at address, if this is lowering the butt (grip) end of the club it is going to affect path and ball flight. The prescribed address position is for the butt end of the club to be pointing between the top of the pants zipper and belt buckle.
