I’ve always wondered what has to happen in the swing that results in the arm across the chest finish. I
suppose the answer is you just have to execute the S&T swing correctly. First time I think the finish I’ve been looking for has happened. Not every time but it’s happening more often now. Finding new levels of crispy. The latest Saguto Golf Video (How to shallow the shaft to hit great golf shots) REALLY helped on this. That and I’ve been working super hard on getting my hips more engaged.
the hips are the key! If I can get my hips working, I get much better contact and my distances soar. So, last time out, I would exaggerate the hips in the rehearsal swing/s and it was helping my golf shot! Making sure I got the hips going in rehearsal was giving me much better results! So that is becoming my swing thought. Shoulder down, hips swing. It's so much less effort when you get the hips, ground up swing going!
I played 9 Friday with a guy I hadn't played with in years. He was very impressed with my improvement. My score wasnt that great but, ball flight and distance was great. I still sliced a couple drives and pulled one or two really long approach shots with a draw into the woods. I left the happy. Golf is getting fun!!
