Tom, your videos are always awesome and I think I need to take this approach to playing golf. As you mentioned in a recent youtube with another favourite you tube, Eric C, I am not sure why I would try the traditional method yet again after 16 years of never breaking 90. I’ve had success with being a functional flipper and been able to hit decent shots, but the beautiful draw etc were never part of the Arsenal. I actually joined earlier this year but did not commit properly to the program after a frustrating start, and the fact it didn’t look like Rory’s swing. I am ready to take this summer off of playing and focus on learning this swing. My question is, I’ve made my way to the “best drill of all time” and I am really struggling. I am filming and using a mirror but am not getting that nice ball first hit. I’m actually topping some with a slow half swing, which is brutal. What do you think is the most likely culprit to this? Am I flipping and not knowing it? Losing posture? Like you’ve mentioned I’m about ready to quit and certainly don’t want To but I stopped having fun out there !
