Hi, just wanted to share one thought that i realised.
I was constantly hitting slightly behind the ball and my swing looked like i was spinning in place and not moving forward.
I was still turning my hips and my lead knee was moving down.
Then i realised it. The lead knee moving into flexion(down) increases the tension on the muscles but that doesnt necessarily mean the weight is moving forward enough.
The latest crispy kfc tip made me realise this. The thought of starting left, moving left and staying/moving more left through impact.
Now my swing thought is this, when i start my backswing and the club and arms travel to the right, i am constantly moving my weight to the left at the same pace. This makes my hips turn automatically and keeps my arms straight. This really makes my downswing automatic because i feel that on top of the backswing i feel like i have at least 80-90 percent weight on my left foot and then i can easily hit solid shots and club path is always in to out, impossible to hit steep or cut across the ball
YES!! Great self-discovery, @Jari Hissa!! Shallowed and in-to-out all day long!!!
