I started with the Saguto method in 2021 and right away started hitting super crispy irons. Struggled off and on with the driver, but that year I did shoot my two lowest rounds ever and also made a hole in one. But for some reason, late in that season, I got away from it. I don't even remember why. May have been an injury, may have been a stretch of bad play, I really don't even remember.
But I'm back! after roaming the wastelands of DIY golf instruction last year, I am back on the KFC train! I've played three rounds on simulator since rededicating myself to the Saguto method, and I'm back to nice tight draws and hitting it long and straight. Seem to have a problem with over-hooking the driver occasionally, but the contact is always solid and I think I know what I need to do to fix it.
It's just so much easier than other swing methods I tried. Feels like less moving parts and less to think about.
@bh11 - You have made a good confession and I absolve you. Now, go forth into the Land of Ball Striking Bliss and depart from our ranks never again......😎
Welcome back! And if the big dawg continues to bother you we can always arrange for a V1 so I can put my eyes on your driver swing and get things figured out.
