Hey Tom! I took a lesson from this one guy and he said to roll the hands after impact he was a stack and tilt instructor or so I thought and I tried and it actually worked pretty well he said ya don’t want the club to match the spine angle but be diagonal he said a lot of the pros do it which it looked that way. I know ya talk about not rolling the hands and doing the flying wedge I’m just confused on what I should continue to do.
Thanks
glenn
Hi Glenn,
If he's talking about actively rolling the hands then that's not part of the program. The two forearms will naturally exchange places post-impact, but that happens without manipulation. Any contrived/timed handsy action is likely a recipe for inconsistency unless you've got the time to hit thousands of balls a week to really groove it. Having said that, as I regularly tell folks, let your ball striking and shot shape be your guide.
