I’ve been studying Tom‘a techniques for over a year, and while I’m still miles away from where‘d I like to be, I do feel like I’ve been striking the ball better than I ever have been; however, the last month I been struggling with the shanks. I don’t even like saying it, but it’s been so bad I’ve even contemplated never playing golf again. It started when I went on my yearly vacation to Myrtle Beach (the worst time it could have possibly happened.)
I’ve been trying different drills and the only one that seems to help is the 2 ball drill. Addressing the outside ball then hitting the inside one.
Does anyone have any idea why this works so well? Is it all mental? Let me know.
I'm sorry to learn of your hosel rocket issues, @Jeremy Santefort.
Here is a video in the Get Out and Go Play program specific to shanking. There's also this one from the KFC Club.
Beyond these, if you enter the word "shank" in the Forum search bar you will find some potentially helpful posts and comment threads.
If these don't do the trick then perhaps a V1 Analysis may be in order.

Shorten up swing. If you have not Take a video of yourself hitting balls. See if you notice breakdown food shots to bad. Hope it helps.
