Tom just watched this youtube video. I know it seems simple but maybe taken for granted at least for me sometimes. I think it occurs when I try to get wrist hinge during the backswing and allow the wrist to cup verses hinge or bow. Now that I think about it, when I try to really hinge the wrist on the driver, well, sometimes it slices. Most likely because I'm cupping the wrist verses hinging the wrist for power.
Thanks for the reminder. Keep up the great work.

Glad you found it helpful, Tom! You're absolutely correct about the tendency to cup the wrist. Try this (and you don't need a club to do it): Put your lead hand out in front of you with the arm parallel to the ground. Now hinge your wrist straight upward. You'll notice that if you hinge it past a certain point it will cup all by itself. That's just the way the joint works. So if we allow that wrist to hinge fully in the backswing without counteracting this natural cupping we're going to have an open face at the top, and unless we do some type of non-prescribed manipulation on the way down we're likely on the path to slice city.
