A guy I played with today told me he was fed up with the conventional swing to the point he started putting his weight on his left side out of sheer experimentation and started hitting much better. This is interesting because he never heard of S&T. Then he started looking up info on "weight on left side" to see if what he was doing made sense, then found S&T. Then he bought the S&T book. Now he's playing far better. I find this interesting because my old golf instructor didn't teach S&T per se, but he showed me how to smash the ball by keeping my weight on my left side and staying over the ball with near-zero head movement. Now I know what he was teaching.

@GolfLivesMatter - You old instructor either knew what he was teaching and just wanted to avoid the public scourging attached to the S&T "stigma", or he just organically figured out that it's the best way to consistently stripe it. Smart guy whichever way you slice - err....I mean draw - it.....😎
