Actually got out to play this week after a lot of work on OTT and transition. Reasonably happy with progress, had a few pars, lots of 1 overs and a Par 4 Birdie. And a few disaster holes.....
My question for the kind and helpful Saguto disciples out there, is, am I getting my club far enough round on the backswing. Maybe need more wrist cock?
Apart from not being OTT (I hope)
, I love the amount of spin on the golf tee in full 120fps Slow Motion!
Thanks Nocona. Yes, am sure I need to concentrate on left hip lateral movement and then turn. There’s a Tom drill that I saw the other day that breaks the movements up. Bump/Side Crunch. Club /hands down and then turn hips and body through the shot. Regards, Adam.
@1759adam - If your body allows you can bring your lead arm more across your chest, which puts the club deeper and can get you a bigger backswing.
Are you asking because your looking for more distrance? If that’s reason, I would focus more on the hip bump. You have a lot of rotation in your hips without much ”bump” forward. You’re not swinging over the top but that is causing you to have higher hands at the finish. High hands means higher ball flight which could rob some yards.
The slo-mo tee flip is epic!! 😆
Let's see what the SG Forum crew has to say about your swing.
